Lady Mustangs basketball struggle in open stretch (The Potpourri)

The Magnolia West Lady Mustangs basketball program has entered its first varsity season and it shows with losses in six of its first seven games. The optimistic part of the situation is that more than most have been close games. The team lost in its opener, 49-42, Nov. 11 against Kingwood Park, with Sharece Douch leading with 18 points.
